Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices back bacon Irish-style rashers preferred
  • 8 pieces black pudding sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
  • 8 pieces white pudding sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
  • 8 whole eggs farm fresh
  • 4 links Irish sausages thick pork sausages
  • 4 slices soda bread thick cut
  • 2 cups baked beans Heinz traditional style
  • 4 whole tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup butter unsalted

Equipment

  • Cast iron skillet
  • Saucepan
  • Egg pan
  • Toaster or griddle

Method
 

  1. Preheat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes to ensure even cooking
  2. Cook bacon rashers for 2-3 minutes per side until crisp and golden brown, then set aside on a warm plate
  3. In the same skillet, cook black and white pudding slices for 3-4 minutes per side until heated through and developing a crispy exterior
  4. Add Irish sausages to the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even browning and internal temperature reaches 160°F
  5. Halve tomatoes and place cut-side down in the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until slightly caramelized
  6. Heat baked beans in a separate saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally
  7. Fry eggs sunny-side up in a separate pan with a tablespoon of butter, cooking until whites are set but yolks remain runny
  8. Toast soda bread slices until golden brown and crisp around the edges
  9. Arrange all components on large warm plates, ensuring each serving has a variety of items

Notes
