
Beef Lasagne with Fries and Mixed Salad
A classic Italian-inspired beef lasagne served with crispy golden fries and a fresh mixed salad

Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare all ingredients and equipment
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking into small pieces
- Add diced onions and minced garlic, sauté until onions are translucent
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef stock, simmer sauce until thickened
- In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese with salt and pepper
- Layer lasagne in baking dish: meat sauce, pasta sheets, ricotta, mozzarella. Repeat layers
- Bake lasagne uncovered until top is golden and bubbling
- Simultaneously, bake french fries on a separate tray until crisp and golden
- Let lasagne rest after baking to set layers
- Toss mixed salad leaves with light vinaigrette just before serving
